Dandy’s story is a testament to the human capacity for healing.
Her path has been shaped by profound loss and resilience — from her mother’s death when she was two, to her father’s breakdown during her adolescence. These early experiences, alongside a formative cross-country journey taken as a teenager in the early 1990s, became the foundation for her first book, Luna Court. The story follows two young friends traveling across the country, discovering far more than they ever expected.
In the years since, Dandy has continued the work of understanding and integration — unraveling the experiences of her childhood and early adulthood through reflection and storytelling. This process has shaped a lifelong commitment: to help others navigating trauma recognize, through story, that they are not alone.
From Luna Court to future film and community-based projects, her vision is to normalize the pursuit of mental wellness and expand access to healing through meaningful, connective experiences.
This work unfolds in stages:
It begins with Luna Court, a published memoir with growing global reach.
The story then expands to the screen, where its universal themes and cinematic moments will be explored through film.
From there, additional voices are invited through To Us, Love You, a collaborative anthology centered on healing and resilience.
Over time, this work moves toward a long-term vision: the creation of the TULY Wellness Center — a story-centered healing retreat designed to be accessible, inclusive, and deeply human.
